Daltonganj: A youth was killed while two others were injured as their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck on the NH-75 under Pandwa Police Station area of the Palamu district.
The deceased has been identified as Devkumar Sharma who died on the spot, while two others including Aakash Kumar Razak and Ankesh Mehta. The trio were going towards Medninagar when at Lohada their vehicle was hit by a truck.
Post the accident the truck driver managed to flee from the spot along with the vehicle. The body was later sent for post-mortem.
