No one is allowed to take law in their hands says CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that no one in the state is allowed to take law in their hands and directed to identify the culprits of mob lynching and take action against them. Charing the review meeting of the Home Department he said Jharkhand is the first state of the country where in the cases of mob lynching in record time action was taken through Fast Track courts in Ramgarh Bokaro and latehar and pointed that on no issue anyone would be allowed to disturb the communal harmony in the state.

He said that law and order was equal for everyone and was above all. Mr Das directed the senior police officials to undertake regular visit of police Stations and also instructed them to make the dial hundred service more effective and reduce the response time by using advanced technology.

The Chief Minister also suggested the police officials to make their information network for the strong along with strengthening of the forensic investigation. He said at the block and the district level the police and administration should work in a coordination as a team. He also congratulated the police personnel for reducing the maoists incidents in the state however he suggested them to remain alert so that the maoists are not able to spread their roots for which he advocated the need to take planned action.

The Chief Minister also directed The policeman to curb Urban crime and take strict action against land mafia and organised crime. Those present in the meeting also included Chief Secretary D K Tiwari Additional Chief Secretary Home Sukhdeo Singh DGP Kamal Nayan Choubey and others.
