Ranchi: BJP National secretary Arun Singh kicked off the membership drive in the state during which he said that BJP was the only party which works on democratic principles.
Addressing a function organised at the Auditorium of the forest department in Doranda he said that BJP which emerged as the political Vichar Yatra in the form of Jan Sangh has now turned out to be the world’s largest party. He said that at centre once again Prime Minister Narendra Modi was leading up BJP majority let government while in 17 other states due to the blessings of the people the BJP was in power and pointed that not only his party was the biggest in the world but also had the most popular leader in form of Narendra Modi.
He said that it was due to the sacrifices and hard work of the numerous workers that party has attained such Heights and pointed that since the days of the junction the party workers spent their lives to spread the ideology of the BJP.
He also recalled the contribution of great leaders Atal Bihari Vajpayee Kushabhau Thakre Rajmata Sindhiya. Mr Singh said that BJP was working to realise the goal of a today and it was also the centre point of the government being led by Narendra Modi.
He said that the fruits of the development should reach to the villages poor and farmers and the last person in the society should be brought to the mainstream. Mr Singh said that the membership campaign was to make BJP accessible to all and expand its presence everywhere and exuded confidence that the workers of the party with their hard work and Labour would easily achieve all the targets.
Speaking on the occasion state BJP President Laxman Giluwa was said that the membership campaign from this day has commenced from the booth to the panchayat level and the party has set a target to make 25 Lakh new members which would be achieved easily by the hard work of the workers.
He said that apart from expanding the party organisation BJP would also achieve the target to secure more than 65 seats in the Assembly Elections as once again under Raghubar Das a strong government has to be formed in Jharkhand. Earlier parties National General Secretary Arun Singh reached the state headquarters of the BJP and garlanded the Statue of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
