Review meeting to make Gumla developed district under vision 2022 held

Gumla: A high-level meeting was chaired by managing director of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd to bring Gumla stand among the developed districts of the state under vision 2022.

In the meeting, the discussion was held to bring the various indices including those related to health and nutrition, education, livelihood, financial inclusion etc as per the parameters of the Niti Aayog. Mr. Sinh said that for the progress of the aspirations districts it was important that villagers, women and target audiences play their role in the execution of schemes. He asked all the departments to work as Team Gumla in coordination and cooperate each other to achieve the targets. He said that apart from the district level committee and block level committee also important.

Reviewing the progress of the health and nutrition he said that anganwadi centers and health care centers should all function properly so that there is adequate arrangements for treatment of the pregnant woman, children and malnourished children. Over the education sector, he asked to accord focus on the dropouts and also reviewed the various other sectors.    Over the financial inclusion, he asked the leading banker to increase the number of Jan Dhan accounts and increase the cover under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and also asked to ensure that the power reaches on all the homes by 2018 December.

On the occasion, DC Sashi Ranjan said that officials should visit the villages and hold interactions with the villagers and try to solve their problems.
