Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das along with thousands of other devotees participated in the Rath Yatra which was taken out in the evening from the historic Lord Jagannath Temple located in Dhurwa of the state capital. After offering prayers to the God the Chief Minister along with other devotees also pulled his chariot. Earlier he said that Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath was an inseparable part of the culture of Jharkhand.

He said that the event which acts as a confluence of unity and worship draws people from large numbers and said that he was fortunate to have got the opportunity to participate in the Rath Yatra and prayed to the god to shower his blessings on all the people of the state. He said that he has prayed to the god to bring in prosperity in the country and the state and with his divine blessings poverty can be wiped out from the state.
