Delegation of Bengali Association meets Raghubar

Ranchi: A delegation of the Bengali Association called on Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here and thanked him for building the Ravindra Bhawan in the capital.

The delegation also handed over a memorandum in which they pointed that in 10 such districts in which Bangla has been approved as the first language in such districts appointment of teachers and providing textbooks will be very
beneficial. 

Further, the delegation also demanded that PG Bangla Department be declared an independent department in Binod Bihari Mahto University, the supply of Bangla books in the entire state and declaring holiday on January 23 which is the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The Chief Minister after listening to their demands assured to have a sympathetic look.
