Process of JTET to commence from September

Ranchi: The director of the state project of Jharkhand education project has issued an order as per which the period during which the para-teachers were on strike would not be considered as non-presence in service. Moreover, the honorarium of the para teachers has been increased by 49% and on the demands of the association Are Family Welfare air fund is being formed and as for the directions of the Chief Minister Assam of Rs 10 crore would be given in this fund. A piece of information in this regard was given in a meeting with the para teachers by HRD minister Neera Yadav.

It was said that the work in this regard would be over by August 15 and the honorarium for May and June for the para teachers would be paid by July 10 apart from that the validity of the passing of the TET examination would be increased from 5 years to 7 years.

In the meeting, it was informed that the list of all the 24 para teachers who have died has been obtained and in this week there in would be given Rs 1 lakh each from the discriniatory funds of the Chief Minister as directions in this regard has been issued by the DCs. It was informed that for the para teachers rules from Maharashtra Telangana and other states have been brought and after going through them this committee would frame the rules in Jharkhand. The Minister said that she had urged the chief minister to grant his approval for organizing the JTET exam for which he has given his approval.

Over the demand of the Rasoiya Sangh cooks all over the state would be provided golden cards so that they can get health insurance worth Rs 5 lakh.

In the meeting, it was informed that the Parliament has made amendments in RET Act Section 23 (2) as per which the only train to teachers will have the right to teach in the schools and post the passage of this amendment 4812 teachers will not be able to teach in Government schools as these teachers either did not participate in the DLAD examination or were failed.
