Broad day light robbery at the house of private bank manager in Lalpur

Ranchi: Unidentified thieves looted cash and valuables worth about Rs 7 lakh from the house of a private bank manager located at Bandhgadi under Sadar Police Station area of the state capital. Police sources said that manager of Lalpur branch of ICICI BANK Pradeep Kumar Ravi along with his wife and children had gone to the Sarla Birla school to participate in a vaccination camp. After returning from the school they found that the door of the flat had broken and the thieves had decamped with gold and silver jewellery from the house including about Rs 1 lakh in cash.

After receiving information a team of Ranchi police along with SFL reached on the spot and inquired into the incident. A dog squad was also called on the spot. Police meanwhile suspected that the apartment was newly built and construction was still on in the flat therefore suspicion was on the workers working in the area. Further probe was on.
