Hazaribagh: Unidentified thieves broke inside an ATM of the SBI located on the NH-100 under Tatijharia Police Station area of this district.
Police said that the thieves used gas cutters to break inside the ATM and later fled with the cash after cutting through the machine. The incident came to notice on Saturday morning when the shutter of the ATM was opened. Unfortunately, no guard was posted in the night for the safety of the ATM.
Police said that thieves had executed the incident during rains which started around the midnight and continued till early morning. The thieves also tried to break up CCTV cameras however their act got recorded in one of the cameras inside the ATM footage of which has been obtained by the police.
