Elections, BJP and RSS have got right to take law in their hands: Brinda Karat

Ranchi: Central Polit Bureau Member of the CPI (M) Brinda Karat said that it appears that after the victory in  Lok Sabha elections the BJP and the RSS have got the certificate to take the law in their hands.

Addressing a press conference here she said that the incident in Saraikela and other mob lynching incidents in the state show that they can kill anyone. Adding further she said that the party has reviewed the reasons for its defeat in the election where it emerged that the party still has the support of the people but in the present political scenario it could not be converted into votes.

She said that the party was working to find out ways as to how the support can be converted into vote. In the meeting of the working committee of the party, a discussion was held on many points in which it was directed that party should go among the people by raising their real problems and concerns.

Over questions being raised on the authenticity of the EVMs she said that it is possible to make changes in the chip however her party has not come to arrive on a concrete decision over this and said that party will take help of an expert to conduct a detailed examination and than come out with the report after which the future course of action will be taken.
