Exhibition BOC of IB Ministry held in Ranchi

Ranchi: Five ay Yoga exhibition of Bureau of Outreach Communication (BOC) NewDelhi of central Information and Broadcasting Ministry held at Ranchi.

The five day exhibition held at Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), Ranchi which concluded on Monday. The five day exhibition of BOC took place in collaboration of Jharkhand AYUSH ministry.

It was inaugurated by Jharkhand Health Minister Chandraprakash Chandravanshi on June 20 and concluded on Monday. Senior BOC officials from New Delhi visited the exhibition.

“ The motive of the exhibition was to create awareness among common people. There were 50 panels showing different forms of Yoga. We distributed more than 3000 booklet on Yoga to people who visited the exhibition” said Kailash Dahiya, exhibition officer of BOC, New Delhi to Reporter Post.

He said” there was big LED outside the exhibition showing speeches of PM Narendra Modi. The LED put inside the exhibition was showing the Yoga forms and it’s benefits. There were four touch screen. Two was displaying the govt schemes benefit and two were having questions related to Yoga”. There were three medical centres of Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani, inside the medical exhibition. “ More than 2000 people turned up at out medical centres for consultations. We provided free counselling and medicine. Majority of people had joint related problem, diabetes and other problems” said Dr Shibvapujan Singh Munda a doctor attending the patients at exhibition.

“ The response of exhibition was very good. We succeeded to covering large section of people to create awareness related to Yoga. There was cultural program on everyday at 4 pm.In one cultural one participant performed Yoga and taught people how to perform Yoga” said Dr Ashok Paswan, Nodal officer of the exhibition to Reporter Post.

The exhibition was organised here as Prime Minister Narnedra Modi also performed Yoga along with 30,000 on International Yoga day .
