21st century should be remembered as India’s century: Raghubar Das

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that with the use of Technology knowledge and Science changes are being visible in the world and the country also needs to make its optimum utilisation so that a new Jharkhand and a new India can be made.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of the Jharkhand startup hackathon he said that 21st century is a century of knowledge and efforts should be made so that the century is remembered as the one which belongs to India. He said that across the world talent of India can be found and said that people of the country have the capacity to give a new direction to the world. He said that for start up and helping the youth realise their thinking the state government was committed to providing a clean environment which is also one of the priority areas and due to this the startup Policy was started in 2016.

He said that the government has a target to realise that entrepreneurship among the youth and create job opportunities. He said that Prime Minister in the year 2015 launched the startup policy to give a new direction to the youth who were roaming with just degrees in their hand and said that had worked been done in this area before 2015 then the entire situation would have been completely different and alleged that no one paid attention towards it

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that the state government formed a Startup policy so that the thoughts of the youth can be realised and under the leadership of the chief minister the best ecosystem for startup is been provided in the state and the state government is also encouraging the youth to come up with the new ideas and take advantage of the startup policy and pointed that the interest on the loan taken for their education is given by the state government.
