Louis Marandi reviews functioning of women and child development dept

Ranchi : Women and Child Development and Welfare Minister Louis Marandi said that the state government was running various schemes for the welfare of the poor and it was the responsibility of the officials that not only they should remain sensitive in ensuring implementation of the schemes but should make sure that the poor are able to get their real benefits.

Chairing a review meeting over the functioning of her department she said that work should be done in a proper manner so that time bound benefits of schemes reach to the people.

The Minister also directed to release the funds for children home so that there is no problem in the care of the children and directed that work on war footing should be held in this direction and instructed officers to visit the children home and warned that in case of negligence under the provisions of Juvenile justice act action would be taken against irresponsible officials.

On the occasion Secretary of the women child development and social security department Amitabh Kaushal said that all officials should seriously work when sure reach of the government schemes to the people and said that benefits of Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana should reach to the needy and there should be no confusion about this scheme.

The Minister also directed to ensure that the benefits of Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana, Kanya Dhan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana should reach to the beneficiaries while honorarium of Anganwadi sevika sahayika Poshan Sakhis for the financial year 2018-19 and 2019-20 is also paid.
