Martyr policemen paid last respects, DGP promises response soon

Ranchi/Saraikela: Tributes were paid at the police line here to the five policemen who were martyred in a Maoist ambush after which their bodies were sent to their ancestral villages. Director General of Police Kamal Nayan Choubey who was also present on the spot said that martyrdom of the policeman will not go in waste and soon an appropriate response would be given to the mass.

The body of 55 year old Dhaneshwar Mahto was brought to his ancestral village of the dead body of Sonahatu of Ranchi district during which former Deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Kumar Mahto Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth Rural SP Ashutosh Shekhar SDM Bundu Saroj Tirkey and other paid Their floral tributes. On the other hand in the police line in Saraikela apart from the DGP ADG operations M L Meena IG CRPF Sanjay Latkar IG operations Ashish Batra DIG STF Saket Kumar Singh DIG Kolhan Kuldeep Dwivedi and other senior officials paid their attributes to the five martyrs.

The martyrs included constable Dibru Purti (West Singhbhum) constable Dhaneshwar Mahto (Ranchi), constable Yudhishthir Maluwa (West Singhbhum) ASI Manodhan Hansda (Deoghar) and ASI Goverdhan Paswan (Ara,
Bihar).
