Message of Yoga should reach to everyone says Barnwal, Asks DCs to hold Sidhi Baat once in a month

Ranchi: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that on the occasion of the international yoga day programme will be organised across the state which is the prime activity for this week, therefore, no negligence should be adopted in the sucessful organisation of the programme.

In a video conferencing with all the DCs and DPROs of the state he said that to link the people with yoga programme all possible means of creating awareness should be used. He said that while in the Prabhat Tara Grounds while people would be performing Yoga with Prime Minister Narendra Modi similar functions will also be organised at the panchayat level, block and district level. He asked the officials to put up hoardings, flex and banners at all levels in this regard along with organising Run for Yoga, seminars, workshops and other programs. He said that these programmes should also be held at the panchayat level so that a pro-yoga environment be created in the state.

He directed the DCs that all preparations for the Yoga Day should be completed on time and for three days Yoga training programme should be held. He also asked them to take the help of Chamber of Commerce, self-help groups and NGOs to encourage people to participate in the Yoga day programme and also make use of various social media platforms to spread awareness about the programme. He said that the message of yoga should reach to every home. 

Dr Barnwal said that displays and hoardings related to Mukhyamantri Sukanaya Yojana should be put up at schools and colleges and even the principals should have complete information regarding the scheme so that they can appraise the students and their parents regarding the scheme. He said Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana and Pradhanmantri Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana were the priority for the state government and said that on June 24 across all districts large scale programmes should be organised on PM Kissan Yojana during which first and second instalment of funds would be transferred in the accounts of the farmers through DBT. 

Dr Barnwal asked the DCs to hold direct talks with the BDOs and COs and other officials as this would help to sort out the problems and directed to make all arrangements to conduct video conferencing in the blocks within a  week and also directed to use the e-mulakat application. He also asked them to use teleconferencing to solve the problems of the people and give information in this regard in newspapers so that people can raise their problems. He also directed to prepare a roaster of officials who would be present in teleconferencing. Those present on the occasion also included IPRD Director Ram Lakhan Prasad Gupta, assistant directors and others.
