JMM under pressure from workers to go alone in the Assembly Elections

Ranchi: As the Assembly Election gets nearer pressure is mounting on the leaders of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha to go alone in the Assembly elections in the state.

On the first day of the central committee meet of the party which comment here most of the district unit heads and secretary’s have stress on the fact that without any collision the party should contest the Assembly Elections alone however some of the MLAs have said that it is for the leadership to take a final call on the issue. The party workers are of the view that JMM did not get any benefit by contesting the Lok Sabha elections under the coalition and even if it goes in the Assembly polls in an alliance it would not be much benefiting for the party.

During the meeting, district-wise reasons for the defeat of the party in the Lok Sabha polls was first discussed where it emerged that since the other parties could not transfer their vote into JMM the party got defeated.

Some legislators also complained regarding the behaviour of party spokesperson Abhishek Pintu. It also emerged that the party should not fall for the agenda of the BJP and look to counter its claims as the party had spread fake
rumours against Shibu Soren in Dumka in which it was successful.
