Main function of International Yoga Day will help Ranchi get International recognition: Tiwari

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Secretary DK Tiwari expressed his gratitude towards the central government for selecting Ranchi has the main venue for the International Yoga Day function and said that the event will help Ranchi make an international name for itself.

Chairing a review meeting at the project building here which was attended by represent a tips of various organisations and Institutions along with secretaries of the various departments he said that representative from many global media houses would also be coming to Ranchi and since the event would be globally telecast therefore the beauties of the city would also be shown to the world which in future will encourage tourism in the state.

Going by the feedback received from the previous programs organized on the international yoga day it has been decided to make the program in Ranchi cleaner and he directed the administration venture that the entire event is clean and is completed on time and has also adequate security arrangements.

It was decided that on the day of the event people would not be provided water in bottles but instead they would be given water to drink from earthen pots and even the number of toilets outside and inside the value would be increased along with that to ensure that the participants do not face any problems at different places Signage would be erected and the refreshment packet would be distributed among the participants after the end of the program. An appeal was also issued that after the end of the program the participants should not leave behind their belongings at the spot or items which might spread garbage.

For the participant's entry time is between 3:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the morning for which the district administration would be running a large number of buses on different rules while for the VIP participants the entry is still 6:00 a.m. after which no one would be allowed to enter the venue. Instruction has been also directed to make elaborate arrangements keeping in mind the Rains and to prevent the mobiles and shoes the participants would be given plastic covers and they have been asked not to bring unnecessary items and in case of rainfall, they have been suggested to remain on their places.

A direction was also issued that the participants who would be attending the program should be provided practiced so that they can perform the yoga in a synchronized manner. Those who were present in the meeting also included Secretary of the Union Ayush department Rajesh Kotecha DGP Kamal Nayan Choubey Health Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni and various other officials and representatives of various yoga Institutions and Ranchi DC and SSP.
