Cabinet decisions: Govt approves amendments in Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana

 Ranchi: The Jharkhand government approved amendments in the Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here.

As per the decision, the cutoff date for the beneficiary has been set at May 30th, 2019 and for the next 5 years this date would be applicable and the amount would be provided to the beneficiary in two or more than two installments. The list of the beneficiaries would be e probe by the DC who would transfer the amount through DBT and pointed that the exclusion letter given by the farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana would be applicable in this. Under the scheme, such farmers would be provided economic help who have maximum 5 acres of land. Another important decision the cabinet also decided that schemes related to drinking water suppliers would also be included in the schemes which would be approved under the MLA scheme. under the MLA scheme for assembly wise out of rupees 4 crores a sum of rupees 50 lakh would be spent by the MLS on schemes to be executed under Mukhyamantri Jal Jan Yojana in the urban areas it would be used for drinking water supply schemes and their expansion and strengthening.

Under the drinking water and sanitation department, the SC/ST dominated Tola have to be covered with drinking water supply scheme for which Mukhyamantri Jan Jal Yojana is being currently operated in the state.

The cabinet also approved the decision to include the swarnkar caste along with Ashtlohi Karmakar in OBC two list.

It was also decided to fix the salary of the teachers teaching in Government schools and was also decided to form rules and regulations for the self help cultural institutions. It was also decided to give approval from the retrospective effect on the notifications issued under Jharkhand GST act 2017. The government also decided to make amendments in the facilities being provided to the officials and the employees working on contract basis under MNREGA and those provided to the regional MNREGA staff.

The cabinet also approved the proposal to hand over 7 acres of land to the the the Urban Development and housing department free of cost for building homes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. For the financial year 2019- 20 in lieu of payment for the pending amount of the DVC the government has decided to make some payment of Rs 300 crore. The government also decided that following the expansion of Tenu Ghat Vidyut Nigam Limited 40% power would be given to appropriate authority or commission of Bihar on the then prevalent rate.
