People of Kolhan will not be allowed to drink red water says Raghubar

Chakardharpur: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the people of Kolhan will no longer be allowed to drink red water as the state government has laid foundation stones for 1200 drinking water supply schemes at a cost of Rs 84 crore which would be completed in the course of next three months.

Addressing a Jan Chaupal organised in Chainpur he said that in all the tribal and dalit villages this scheme would be launched and 5 minor and medium drinking water supply schemes would be soon completed which will provide clean drinking water to 15,000 people.

The Chief Minister said that it is the target of the state government that all the villages in Jharkhand become model villages therefore the rural street light scheme has been started so that the street of the villages are also lighten up as in the cities apart from that work who was also on to improve the roads in the villages which would be done with the use of Paver blocks and said that in all the 32000 villages of the state work on street lights, paver blocks and providing water through solar power would be done.

In the junk Chaupal Rita Devi of Gonda village Earth the chief minister to make arrangements for training and employment of the women over which is said that in Chaibasa and Manoharpur Sewing Training Centre would be opened where 300 women would be provided training and a Centre to manufacture shoes would also be set up in Chakradharpur so that women can make shoes which is to be used in the Government schools.

In the program the villagers informed Chief Minister that the road connecting to their village was very poor and demanded that it should be repaired on a priority basis over which he said that he too has travelled on the same road and was well aware of its condition and assured them that the construction work good commence in the month of July and ask the villages to ensure that the quality in the road construction work is maintained in their area.

The Chief Minister said that after independence there has been a gap between the administration and the people and work has not been done honestly due to which the state has left behind in development while on the other hand scam and corruption was encouraged. He said that after 2014 efforts were made so that the gap between the Administration and the people is minimised and the present government to Jan Chaupal is coming among the people in order to get to know about their problems and solve them as quickly as possible. He said that the state government wanted to ensure all the maximum reach of projects to them in which middle men have no role to play.

The Chief Minister said that under the Ujjwala Yojana in Jharkhand sofa 29 lakh women have been benefited and another 14 lakh would be covered under the scheme by the end of December 2019 and said that the state government would now also look to provide second refill. Appointed that under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana 57 lakh families have been covered for which the government has made additional provision of Rs 400 crore and so far in state 32 lakh golden cards have been distributed and moreover these cards are being provided to the people free of cost.
