Ranchi: The state government has commenced all preparations to make the function to be organised on the international yoga day on June 21 a mega show as part of which Chief Secretary DK Tiwari give necessary instructions to all the DCs of the state through video conferencing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself would be the chief guest during the international Yoga Diwas function in the capital. Further he also directed that data entry of farmers who are beneficiaries of the Kissan Nidhi Samman Yojana and Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana should be done on time.
The Chief Secretary said that this time around like function on Republic Day and Independence Day Yoga Diwas functions would also be organised from the panchayat level to the district level and the Mega function would be held at the state level. He said that to ensure the massive participation of people in the program the DCs should start creating awareness among the people from June 10 for which all possible means of communication including distribution of pamphlets for organising debate competitions and organising you cannot talk should be held. He said that on June 17th 18th and 19th Yoga training should be provided to the people those who would be participating in the program and a day before the main function at all levels seminars should be organised and also directed that all the universities organisations and different institutions in the state should be made part of this function. The Yoga Divas function would be held under the open Sky from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m..
Further the chief secretary said that in order to take the benefits of the schemes the farmers would have to submit self attested certificate by June 15th and the also instructed the officials to keep in mind the basic difference between the two programs and work accordingly.
Mr Tiwari said that the work of all the officials will be assessed on the fact as to how much they have been able to successfully provide the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to the farmers in their district. Those who were also present in the video conferencing included Health Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni and Secretary Land Reforms and Revenue K K Soan along with Secretary agriculture Pooja Singhal.
