Ranchi: After receiving a major set back in the Lok Sabha polls the opposition parties in the state are in no mood to let off their guard therefore work on seat sharing formula has commenced. All the parties in Mahagathbandhan have started their homework on the seats in which they want to contest.
After JMM’s acting president Hemant Soren issued an ultimatum to work out the seat sharing deal by June 30 the Congress has also decided to finalise the formula as soon as possible. Incharge for Jharkhand Congress RPN Singh is most likely to arrive in the state in the third or the fourth week of June and it is expected that in his presence the deal will be finalised.
According to the sources aware of development JMM, Congress and JVM(P) will first lay claim on their respective sitting seats after which they would lay their claims on the seats where they had stood second. It is also expected that MCC will get two seats.
