Miscreants decamp with cash and valuables worth Rs 25 lakh from distributor’s house in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: Unidentified miscreants broke inside the house of an electronic goods distributor located at Shiv Colony under Ramgarh Police Station area of this district and made their way out with cash and valuables worth Rs 25 lakh. Police said that the occupants of the house had gone to Aurangabad of Bihar. The incident came to notice on Wednesday morning when the neighbours saw the lock on the main door broken after which they informed the house owner and the police.

The house owner Jitendra Singh who rushed back post the incident told the police that thieves had managed to break the locks of the two rooms and had taken Rs 20 lakh in cash which was kept in the house along with gold worth Rs 5 lakh which was meant to be  given to the customers on part of the company offer. Further a mobile and camera have been also stolen from the spot. Upon receiving information a police team arrived on the spot and inquired into the incident. Further probe was on.
