Government is working with sole target of development of villages: Raghubar

Dumka: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the state government it was working with the sole focus of development of the villages as unless the villages develop Jharkhand will not become a developed state.

Addressing the people during the Jan Chaupal and launch of rural LED street light scheme in Dhaka village of Shikaripara of this district he also inaugurated and laid Foundation stones for projects worth Rs 151 crore. The Chief Minister assured the people that all their problems would be sorted out but for that he needed some time and pointed that situation in Santhal Pargana has changed. He said that development has been made possible in Jharkhand as people have voted for a strong and majority government.

During the program the people raised the issue of lack of power in the area over which the Chief Minister said that after independence in only 38 lakh homes power was available however after his government came into functioning Electricity was provided in 30 lakh more homes and pointed that as per the requirement of the state there was a need of 138 grids while only 38 grids were only available.

He said that the present government was constructing 117 grids and 217 sub stations. He said that sub Station was also being constructed in Dhaka village which would be completed I. A month and solve the issue of power in the area. The Chief Minister said that it is the target of the central and state government to double the income of the farmers for which Pradhan Mantri Krishi Samman Nidhi Yojana and Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana has been launched.

Under the both the schemes the beneficiaries will be provided Rs 11,000 on per acre of land. He said that in June month the money will be reaching to the people so that before rains they can commence preparations for the farming. He said that entire state camp will be organised between 20-25 June and farmers will get benefits of the scheme.

The chief minister has requested the people of the Santhal community to be aware of their rights as the government was with them. He said that government has made provision to provide teaching to the children in Olchiki language for which teachers would be appointed soon. He said that the DCs have been instructed to appoint teachers on contractual basis for this. He said that it was his government who gave the status of state level function to Dharm Sansad of Santhals at Luguburu and also announcements are being made in Santhali language at railway station.

During the Jan Chaupal the villagers informed the Chief Minister that they were not getting the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana over which the Chief Minister said that the golden card has reached to 32 lakh families and in the month of June in every panchayat camps would be organised to make the golden cards in which the people need to come only with ration card and get there cards made. He said that for the daughters of the state under mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana a sum of Rs 70000 would be provided while under CSR initiative Centre would be opened in Dumka where daughters of Santhal Pargana would be provided training in stitching and embroidery.

He said that in all the 12 Lok Sabha a help center will be opened bear people can register their complaints and the MP of that area would solve their problems. He said that the facility would be provided in all the Assembly areas as government wanted to directly get in touch with the people and solve their problems.

The Chief Minister also pay distributes towards the Jawan who was killed in encounter with the Maoist in Dumka and short that adequate medical treatment is being provided to the injured. He said that before 2014 maoist was a big problem in the state which was also creating problems in development however maoism was now counting its last breath and in the time to come Jharkhand would become free from the Maoists. He asked the youth who had diverted from the main stream of life to return to the main fold. He said that with use of gun changes can not be brought and asked the Maoists to shun violence and return to normal life.
