Despite claims of government Maoists making their strong presence felt in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Despite the claims of the state government that Maoists were breathing their last in the state the ultras are making their strong presence felt by executing five big incidents.

After hardcore Maoist Sudhakaran along with his wife surrendered in Telangana the Maoists in Jharkhand have once again United under Nambala Kesav Rao alias Baswaraj and are executing one incident after another.

Among the five big incidents which have taken place in the state the biggest had occurred on May 27 at Rai Sindri Pahar of Kuchai Police Station area of Saraikela district in which 26 jawans of Cobra and Jharkhand police were injured in an IED blast executed by the Maoists. In the last four months many senior Maoist leaders are camping in Kuchai area with polit Bureau member Prashant Bose also camping in Saraikela.

Other hardcore ultras including Patiram Manjhi alias Anal Da, Maharaj Pramanik, Amit Munda and others are in Saraikela. During the recent times Maoist have weaken in Budha Pahar, Jhumra, Saranda and Parasnath.

In February 2019 the meeting of the eastern regional Bureau was held in which Baswaraj had participated and had given the responsibility on Anal Da to strengthen the organisation after which Maoists have executed many incidents in the Kolhan region. The other key incidents executed by the Maoists during this period included, blast at election office of Arjun Munda on May 3 in Kharsawan, IED blast on May 20 in Kharswan in which three jawans were injured, June 1 a man was shot dead by the Maoists branding him as police informer and June 2 when one SSB jawan was killed and 4 other jawans were injured.
