Jharkhand BJP hails decisions of the first Union Cabinet

Ranchi: The Jharkhand BJP on Saturday hailed the decisions of the Union Cabinet which were taken in its first meeting.

Addressing a press conference at the state BJP headquarters here spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that the Union cabinet in its first decision decided to cover all the farmers under Kissan Yojana under which they would be provided Rs 6000. As per its manifesto, the government has decided to include all the farmers in this scheme which will benefit 14.5 crore farmers of the country.

He said that the Modi government is also dedicated to the welfare of the security personnel and family of the martyrs. The Union Cabinet has also decided to increase the pension provided family and kin of army jawans and paramilitary forces. Now kin of police jawans killed in Maoist attacks would also be included in the same. The scholarship for the boys has been increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 2,500 while for the girls it has been increased to Rs 3000. The quota of the state has been fixed at 500. He said that the decision to provide pension to shop keepers and small retailers is also a historic decision which will benefit 3 crore, small shop keepers.
