CM directs to accord Priority to construction of Ranchi-Jamshedpur-Mahulia road

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed to accord top priority to construction of Ranchi-Jamshedpur-Mahulia road.

Reviewing the progress of construction of various NH AI projects in the state is said that the construction of the road was very challenging task which has been decided to be constructed in four phases for the convenience of
the people.

He directed all the contractors to commence the task on a priority basis and said that in case of any problem at the local level then they should immediately get in touch with the officials concerned.

NHAI Chairman NN Sinha said that the work would be constructed within the specified time limit. He said that in the next 4 5 months changes would be visible to the people. He said that this year that has been set to construct
203 kilometres of NHAI in the state.

Mr Sinha pointed out that there are certain issues at the local level which needed to be sorted out at the DC level. Mr Das directed all the officials to speed up the work related to NHAI in the state. Those present in the meeting also included Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Secretary Road Construction KK Soan and others.
