Decks cleared for reservation for EWS in the state, DC and SDO to issue certificate

Ranchi: The state government has decided to issue income and property certificate for the economically weak in the general category for direct appointment.

This certificate has been issued for admission in government level educational institutions and direct employment in government jobs. For the economically weak in the general category, the DC AC Executive Magistrate SDO and CO can issue the certificate.

Jharkhand is the first state where people can file an online application for this and will have to login in the website of the Government of Jharkhand.

Additional chief secretary personnel Administrative Reforms and rajbhasha department KK Khandelwal said that those who want to get this certificates we will have to apply in the forms which have been issued by the state government. For immediate cases, there is a provision of filing separate application and it is also important to fulfill all the criteria for being called a local resident of the state.
Before issuing the property income certificate the income from all sources for the previous financial years would be calculated and the details of Land Record of the applicant will also be included. The age limit of the younger brother and sisters who are more than 18 years of age have also been included as in this income of all the family members has to be given.
