Ranchi: Shaken after the debacle in the Lok Sabha elections the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has called for the central committee meeting of the party on June 2.
The meeting will be held at Morhabadi residence of JMM supremo Shibu Soren from 10.30 am.
General Secretary cum spokesperson of the party Binod Kumar Pandey said that it is compulsory for all the members to attend. Further, the party has called for its legislature wing meeting on the same day.
As part of Mahagathbandhan in the state, JMM had contested on four Lok Sabha seats. Though it managed to win Rajmahal seat by a margin of about one lakh votes. It suffered heavy defeats in Jamshedpur and Giridih seats.
What has come as most shocking for the party that it lost the fortress of Dumka to Sunil Soren of the BJP by a margin of about 48,000 votes.
