Landslide victory for NDA is history says Ragubar

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das thanked the crores of people of the country and the state for ensuring the landslide victory of the BJP in the Lok Sabha polls and said that the victory of the BJP was a major incident in the history where an incumbent government has been voted back into power by the people with such a massive number of seats.

Addressing a press conference at the state BJP headquarters here he said that victory of the BJP and the NDA was a win for the democracy of the country where people have expressed their faith on the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah and have voted on the plank of security and development.

He said that the Congress and its allies used all kinds of lies and forgery but ultimately, in the end, the truth emerged victorious. Mr Das also tanked his party workers who in rising summer temperature kept on working day and night to ensure the victory of the party in the polls.

The Chief Minister said that in these elections the people have risen above the politics of caste and communalism and have voted for development and hoped that under the leadership of the Prime Minister a New India and New Jharkhand will be built and all the pending works would be completed. He said that the India of 21st century will be a prosperous, happy and safe and India. To a query, he said that Jharkhand named regional parties have only used the tribals for the vote bank politics and never worried to look into their basic problems. He claimed that in the Santhal Pargana and other tribal areas of the state the people have voted for the BJP as all the schemes of the central and the state government have reached to them.

Taking swipe at the JMM he said that respected Guruji himself did not want to contest from Dumka and was also not in favour of alliance with the Congress party. However “when a son (Hemant Soren) does not care for his father than the society also rejects him,” Mr Das said adding that his government will assure that ‘Vikas Ki Ganga’ reaches in all 32,000 villages of the state.

He said that in this election there was a clear message given by the party which is against the dynasty and family politics and now it is the people who would rule where even a Chaiwala can become the Prime Minister. Mr Das said that the verdict of Lok Sabha polls was an indication of things to come in the assembly elections.

In Jharkhand out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats trends were available so far BJP along with its ally the AJSU was leading in 12 seats while Congress and JMM were ahead on one seat each.
