Ranchi: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee chief Dr Ajay Kumar congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP post their victory in the Lok Sabha polls and said that since the people are ruler in the democracy, therefore, he accepts their verdict with humility.
He also extended his gratitude towards the candidates and workers of the parties who were part of the Mahagathbandhan in the state and said that his alliance partners had contested on the issues with full strength and accepted that despite the results not being in favour of the grand alliance but the NDA in Jharkhand has received a severe threat.
Mr Kumar said that in Lohardaga and Khunti there was a closely fought contest and his party will continue their fight on the issues of the people. Dr Kumar said that now is the turn for those on whom the people have shown their faith to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people.
