Hazaribagh: A person set on fire couple of his sons aged three and two respectively by pouring kerosene on them.
The incident took place in Punai Basariya village under Daru police Station area of this district. The accused Kailash Agarwal set on fire his sons Priyanshu and Raja following a family dispute. The mother identified as Sunita had a love marriage with the man who hails from Rajasthan but due to frequent quarrels she had returned from Rajasthan and was living with her parents.
In the fire, both the kids were severely burnt in which Priyanshu died while Raja was battling for life. Their mother also sustained burn injuries while trying to save her sons. She raised an alarm after which with the help of locals they were taken to Sadar Hospital were the elder son died while the younger was sent to RIMS Ranchi for better medical aid.
