Jharkhand Congress asks EC to take action against Pragya Thakur

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has asked the election commission to take action against Pragya Thakur for her statements in favour of Nathuram Godse and has demanded that she should be removed from the election process.

JPCC media in charge Rajesh Thakur said that due to the BJP the soul of the country has been adversely hit and the real violent face of the BJP has come out in the open. He said that BJP leader Pragya Thakur by describing Nathuram Godse as a true patriot has hurt the entire country. He said that the BJP and its leaders were attacking the ideology the path shown by Gandhiji and said that the crime committed by the BJP leader
can never be pardoned by the country.

Mr Thakur said that on a previous occasion also BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj has described Godse as a patriot and despite that BJP and their Prime Minister did not take any action against him.
