Hemant accuses BJP of trying to sell Jharkhand

Pakur: JMM’s acting president Hemant Soren today alleged that BJP wants to sell the state and scare away the poor and tribals from the state.

Addressing an election meeting in Amrapada of this district he said that after the BJP came to power a couple of mines in the area were closed and now the BJP is making attempts so that these mines can be given to their industrialist friends. He said that by closure of the mines not only the tribals lost their land but also lost their jobs.

Mr Soren asked the people to seek their vote in the VVPAT machine so that they have voted for the correct candidate or not or else he alleged that the BJP might make their votes invalid. In his address which Mr Soren gave in Santhali language, he said that Guruji fought to have a separate state of Jharkhand carved out but it was now being looted by the outsiders. He also accused the local administration of working under pressure from the state government.
