Maoist torch vehicles in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Maoist Guerrillas set on fire four vehicles involved in road construction work in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on early Wednesday.

According to Police, Maoist Guerrillas raided camp office of a road construction company situated at Pathel village of Chatra district on early Wednesday. The labourers were threatened and driven away from the spot. Maoist Guerrillas set on fire four vehicles parked the by pouring Kerosene oil.

The vehicles were used for road construction work. The denial of levy is said to be the reason of the incident. This year more than 20 vehicles have been torched by the Guerrillas in different parts of the state.
