Bokaro: A local court in this district awarded life imprisonment to a man who was accused of murdering his wife.
The court of Additional Sessions Judge (second) Janardhan Singh awarded the punishment to one Rajkumar Ram. The man had on December 10, 2014 strangulated his wife Madhu to death after which a case against him was registered at Bokaro Steel City Police Station.
After executing the murder the man had fled from the spot but was later arrested by the police. Even the postmortem report confirmed that she was strangulated to death.
The court in its verdict has also awarded a fine of Rs 50,000 failing to pay which he will have to undergo further imprisonment of six more moths.
