Raghubar claims JMM deliberately did not allow development to reach Santhal Pargana

Dumka: Chief Minister Raghubar Das alleged that the JMM deliberately did not allow development to reach the Santhal Pargana region and instead its leaders became rich while the poor were left behind on their own fate.

Addressing a public meeting here he said that JMM has cheated and mislead the people of the area only to fill up their ballot boxes and ‘money boxes’. He alleged that JMM and its leaders have violated the provisions of the CNT and SPT acts and has purchased land worth Rs 500 crore at throw away prices from the tribals.

He said that the people have given lots of respect to the JMM but now time has come that they voted for the BJP as their each vote will go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as this was not a normal election but rather an election to decide the future and security of the country.

Mr Das said that in 2014 itself JMM had alleged that if BJP comes to power than the land of the tribals will be forcibly taken away and asked the people to point a single example when the government has forcibly acquired the land but instead people were provided with pucca homes, LPG connections, toilets and electricity.

Attacking the Congress party he said that the ‘mother and son’ are out on bail and these people are scared that if Modi comes to power again than they will be behind bars therefore all the corrupt people have joined hands together who are not worried about development but just want to remove Mr Modi from power.

He said that after May 23 22.76 lakh farmers will get the benefits of Pradhanmantri Krishi Samman Yojana and Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana and a sum of Rs 22 crore would be given in the accounts of the farmers through DBT before the monsoon so that farmers can make preparations for sowing.
