DC reviews security and other arrangements at Pandra strong room

Ranchi: District Electoral Officer cum DC Rai Mahimpet Rey visited the strong room at Pandra Bazar Samiti and also looked into the security arrangements at the spot.

He had at the look at the strong rooms through CCTVs as all the polled EVMs of the six assembly areas have been kept in separate rooms. He issued necessary instructions to the police officials and personnel who have been deployed at the spot and said that at no cost compromise should be made in security.

He said that due to the rising temperature a separate room has been provided so that representatives from the political parties can sit and keep an eye on the strong room through the CCTV however no political party or their workers have come so far. He said that for Ranchi Lok Sabha seats counting will be done in 22 rounds and separate counting halls will be for all the six assembly areas therefore it will take time when the final results will be out.
