Daltonganj: A jawan of the Jharkhand Armed Police has been suspended by the IG for circulating a fake video.
The jawan identified as Sunil Kumar Patel who is posted in JAP-2 at Tatisilwai in Ranchi has been suspended by IG JAP Sudhir Kumar Jha. The jawan had posted a video of news channel in the group in which there was a news regarding an IRB jawan Yukti Narayn Singh firing at havildar Afroz Samad and running away with the arm.
The IG said that after the video surfaced its contents were verified through JAP control room at Garhwa where it was found that the footage was of during the municipal polls. It was also found that the culprit jawan had also posted other objectionable videos in the social media platform after which it was decided to suspend him immediately.
