Battle Ground Jharkhand: 65.99 pc final voter turn out on four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand

Ranchi: A total of 65.99 per cent voters exercised their franchise during the elections on four Lok Sabha seats including Koderma, Ranchi, Khunti (ST) and Hazaribagh voting for which concluded on May 6. 

The office of the chief electoral officer of Jharkhand today came up with final and updated figures for the voter turn out of which Koderma has recorded voter turn out of 66.68 per cent while in Ranchi 64.40 voters cast their votes, in Khunti 69.11 per cent voter turnout was recorded while in Hazaribagh it was 64.83 per cent.

Out of the total 65,87,028 lakh voters who were eligible to cast their votes 43,46,880 voters turned up at the booths to cast their votes. Among the 34,42,266 lakh male voters 21,98,803 lakh male voters cast their votes which is 63.87 per cent of their population while among the women 68.30 per cent voter turn out was recorded as out of 31,44,678 women voters, 21,48,066 cast their votes.
