Gulam Nabi Azad says at no cost BJP or Modi is coming back into power

Ranchi: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congressman Gulam Nabi Azad said that during these elections he has been travelling across the country after which he has arrived on the consensus that at no cost either the BJP or Mr Modi is coming back to power. 

Addressing a press conference at the Jharkhand Congress office here he said that all sections of the society are against the Prime Minister whether it is the farmers, workers, youth of women. All of them are full of anger as he did not fulfill any one of his promises, Mr Azad said. He said that Prime Minister Modi had promised to provide 10 crore jobs in five years but on the other hand due to demonetisation and wrong implementation of the GST 40,000-50,000 small and medium industries were closed and 4.73 crore people became jobless which on an overall impacted 25 crore people and these people will never vote for Modi he said adding that thousands of farmers across the country committed suicide but the Prime Minister did not bother to fulfill any of the promises which was made to them.

Mr Azad said that the Prime Minister Modi had coined the slogan of Beti Padhao Beti Bachao but neither he did anything for the education of the girls and nor for their protection. He alleged that the rape of minor girls was an all time high in the country. To a query over Mr Modi raising the name of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Bofors Scam he said that it is very unfortunate for Mr Modi to do that . He said that Gandhi family has made many sacrifices and the entire country is aware of that and said that the Prime Minister has reached to low standard by dragging the name of a dead person. He said that after the election the non NDA and non BJP supporting parties and their leaders including Mamta Bannerjee and Mayawati will come together to support a secular front.
