BJP claims party blessed by voters; Mahagathbandhan confident of victory on all 4 seats

Ranchi: As the voting came to end on the four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand including Koderma, Ranchi, Khunti (ST) and Hazaribagh both the alliances in the state claimed victories for their respective candidates. Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar said that after the end of the fifth phase of the polls the party is of the view that going by the response of the youth, women and other voters it is clear that people have given their blessings so that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can become Prime Minister once again. He said after the results of the elections will be out on May 23 the differences between the parties which are part of Mahagathbandhan will be out in the open and said that the parties which are part of this grand alliance have failed to influence the people. He exuded confidence that BJP will bag more seats than in 2014.

On the other hand, JMM’s central general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that due to extremely hot conditions the voter turnout was low however in the rural areas the people showed great enthusiasm. He thanked the people for voting in the favour of UPA and said that ‘Asur Shakti’ (demon powers) are on the verge of being defeated. He said that whenever election in Jharkhand Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the state. JPCC spokesperson Lal Kishore Nath Shahdei said that going by the trends which is available on these four seats clear indication has been received that on all the four seats candidates of the Mahagathbandhan will be victorious.

He said that people have made the BJP pay for the nonfulfillment of its promises. He said that BJP did a failed experiment by changing candidates on three of the four seats but that experiment too did not succeed. On the other hand, central spokesperson of the JVM(P) Yogendra Pratap said that on all the four seats where polling concluded today the Mahagathbandhan will emerge victorious
