Congress distributed liqour and pictures of Gandhiji to take votes of poor: Raghubar

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today alleged that the Congress party on some occasions distributed liquor while on others gave the pictures of Mahatma Gandhi in order to capture the votes of the poor.

Addressing a public meeting at Tatisilwai here he said that all the corrupt have joined hands and have formed Mahagathbandhan to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi as they are not able to get their hands on the exchequer of the nation as a ‘chowkidaar’ was watching over it and said that the Congress party should answer why despite ruling for 55 years poverty was still in the country.
He said that the Congress party only does the politics of dynasty while the people have faith in the democracy. Mr Das said that the manner in which people had rejected the politics of dynasty and handed over the powers to a poor man’s son in 2014 similarly in 2019 once again Prime Minister would be back in power.

The Chief Minister said that the Congress party made an independent the Chief Minister and did scam of Rs 4,000 crore and asked the people of take pledge that the seats of the Congress party will be reduced to four from 44. Later addressing another public meeting in Ichagarh he said that the state government will soon take a decision so that 54 castes whose land falls in the ambit of CNT/SPT provisions can get bank loans. He alleged that Congress has always cheated the farmers while after 2014 many steps were taken by the Modi government for the betterment of the farmers including the launch of Krishi Samman Yojana while the state government launched Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana for their betterment as unless the villages make progress the country cannot develop further. Mr Das said that in the rule of the BJP all the programmes of poverty eradication has been realized on the ground whereas the Congress party with the slogan of Garibi Hatao has ruled from the panchayat to the parliament and once again in 2019 it has coined the similar slogan.

He said displacement is an old problem in the state and it was not brought under Modi rule but it was rather due to the policies of the Congress whether it was related to Bokaro or Massanjore.
