BJP confident of sweeping all 3 seats, Mahagathbandhan claims of historic victory

Ranchi: As voting concluded peacefully on three Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand the parties including those in ruling dispensation and those in opposition have stalked claims that people of Chatra, Lohardaga and Palamu have voted for their respective party candidates who would be registering massive victories.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here state vice president of the party Aditya Sahu claimed that his party was going to win all the three Lok Sabha seats where polling has been completed and said that trends indicate of big BJP victory in all these three seats.

He said that the state government has broken the back of the maoists due to which peaceful polls were conducted and claimed that huge que was witnessed in areas where people never turned to vote. He said that Mahagathbandhan has failed and pointed that there was also reports of clash between supporters of Congress and RJD in Chatra and claimed that NDA will win all the 14 seats in Jharkhand.

On the other hand JMM’s general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattachary said that huge turnout of the people at the polling booths was an indication of their desire for change. He said that the response of the people has underlined the fact that all the MPs of the BJP who are contesting from these seats will become former MPs.

He said that Mahagathbandhan in the state will register a historic win on all the three states and claimed that the victory march of the opposition will also continue in the remaining three phases in Jharkhand. Mr Bhattacharya all congratulated all the stakeholders involved for conducting peaceful elections in the state and thanked the voters who braved the heat and made a bee-line at the polling booths to cast their votes.

On the other hand, JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey also claimed that on all the three seats of the state candidates of Mahagathbandhan will emerge victorious by huge margins. He said that Congress candidate from Lohardaga Sukhdeo Bhagat and Manoj Yadav from Chatra along with Ghuran Ram of the RJD from Palamu will emerge victorious in these polls.

Mr Dubey said that due to lack of active involvement of the sitting MPs and their distance from the people have forced the people to look towards new faces. He pointed that all the three candidates of the BJP were only found to give clarification to their voters.
