9.70 lakh families to benefit from NYAY Yojana of Congress in Jharkhand: Dr Ajay

Ranchi: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Dr Ajay Kumar said that a total of 9.70 lakh families will be benefited by the NYAY Yojana of the party and most of the beneficiaries will belong to the tribals, Dalits and minorities communities in the state.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here he said that overall 58.20 lakh people will be benefited under the ambitious scheme of Rahul Gandhi. He said that according to the party estimate every month in Jharkhand a sum of Rs 582 crore would come which in a year would be almost Rs 7000 crore.

He said that the scheme will not only benefit the real beneficiaries but would also help in the growth of the economy of the state as the money would be circulated in the system which will strengthen the economy and ensure all-round development of Jharkhand. He said that those who are questioning the scheme should understand that it was the Congress party will successfully launched and ran Mnrega in the country.

To a query, he said that on the three seats where polling will be held tomorrow the Congress party will be winning in Chatra and Lohardaga comfortably. He said that apart from party chief Rahul Gandhi who is coming on May 2 to campaign in Simdega other star campaigners including Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shatrughan Sinha will also be campaigning in the state in the next couple of days.
