Ranchi: In the wake of Lok Sabha elections in the state for getting permission for campaigning Lok Sabha elections, helipad construction for organizing rallies, for the opening of temporary party office so far 1892 online applications have been approved on the Suvidha app.
Addressing a Press Conference here Chief Electoral Officer L Khiyangate said that necessary instructions have been issued to the district electoral officers so that the applications received on the Suvidha app can be disposed of in a timely manner and in a transparent way.
He said that so far the names of 418 star campaigners of the various parties have been approved which included 40 of the JMM, 19 of CPI ML, 40 of BSP, 7 of All India forward bloc, 40 of BJP, 40 of RJD, 19 of Jharkhand party, CPI-M 40, JVM(P)40, CPI 36, AJSU party 40, Congress 40 etc. For the recognized national political parties the number of star campaigners has been fixed at 40 while that for the regional outfits is 20.
