JMM suspended Mandu MLA for 6 years from primary membership of party

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has suspended its Mandu MLA Jaiprakash Bhai Patel for six years from the primary membership of the party.

Notice in this regard has been issued by General Secretary cum spokesperson of the JMM Binod Pandey. The party had served a show cause notice to the MLA on April 19 after he had held a press conference and declared to support the NDA and also campaign for NDA candidates on all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of the state.

The party had asked the MLA to reply within a week or face disciplinary action. But Mr Patel did not respond and continue to campaign for the NDA candidates in the state the party today finally decided to act against him.

Mr Pandey said that the acts of the MLA were against the constitution of the party and is an example of indiscipline, therefore, he has been relieved from all the organizational posts in the party and has been removed for a period of six years.
