Modi is asking vote in the name of army: Bhupesh Bhagel

Ranchi: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bhagel said in the last five years the Modi government did not fulfill any of its promises, therefore, it has no issues over which it can seek votes of the people, therefore, people of BJP are seeking vote in the name of Modi while Modi is asking for votes in the name of the army.

Addressing a press conference here he said that on the other hand in the name of GST and demonetisation the employment decreased as people lost their jobs. He said that none of the schemes for which the Prime Minister laid the foundation is in a position to be inaugurated which shows the speed of his work. Mr Bhagel said that in Modi-Raj only corruption has increased, inflation has moved ahead and jobs have ended. He said that when in the five states assembly elections were being held in the previous year that BJP had termed it as a semifinal in which they lost while in Chhattisgarh it only on just 15 seats out of the 90. He said that after coming to power his government fulfilled all the promises which was made to the people and waived off loans of 20 lakh farmers and also raised the MSP on paddy to Rs 2,500.

He said that land on which work was not started has been returned to the people while for domestic use the power tariff has been reduced to half. He said that in the first three phases of elections has shown that NDA is now out of the race. Earlier in the day Mr Bhagel addressed a series of public meetings in Ranchi Lok Sabha area while campaigning for Congress candidate Subodhkant Sahai.
