Renowned neuro physician Dr K K Sinha passes away, CM expresses grief

Ranchi: State’s renowned neuro-physician Dr K K Sinha passed away at his residence in the state capital in the morning on Friday.

Dr Sinha who was suffering from various old age related issue was brought to the Medica hospital from where he was allowed to go home after treatment. His last rites will be performed tomorrow post the arrival of his family members.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das took to twitter to offer his condolence on the passing away of the doctor. In his tweet Mr Das said that Dr Sinha was pride not only for Jharkhand but for the entire nation who in his life gave smiles of lakhs of families. He prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to his family members to overcome the grief of his loss.

On the passing away of Mr Sinha, JMM supremo Shibu Soren and Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand and acting president of JMM Hemant Soren have also expressed their grief.

Mr Soren said that he was extremely saddened to hear the loss of Dr Sinha who was renowned in entire East India. He said that in the matter of grief the JMM was with the family of the late doctor and prays to the almighty to rest his soul in peace.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has too offered his condolence on the passing away of the doctor.

Dr Sinha was born in Maner of Patna district and complete his education from the prestigious Benaras Hindu University from where he did his I Sc. He completed his MBBS from Darbhanga Medical College in the year 1953 in medicine with gold medal award. Not only from Jharkhand but people from Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh use to visit him.
