Raghubar calls JMM ‘Jharkhand Mudra Mochan Party’, asks people not to vote for ‘absent’ MP

Sahibganj: Terming JMM as the ‘Jharkhand Mudra Mochan Party’ Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that while on one hand, the income of the present MP increased by three times in the last five years there has been no change in the condition of the tribals living in the area.

Addressing a public meeting here he said that JMM and its MP had sold the pride of the state and the Santhal Pargana region for Rs 2 crore and their present MP had created obstacles in execution of a Rs 200 crore drinking water supply scheme in Littipada and said that their MP was such a public servant who did not go among them but rather increased his income.

Asking the people to make Santhal Pargana free of JMM, Mr Das said that development should have taken place in the area long before but the representatives of the area did not want this to happen but the present government under the leadership of Modiji was making efforts to bring a change in the region in which it has been partially successful.

Mr Das said that if the people of the area elect an MP of the BJP than development will further gather pace and said that people should elect such MPs who do not live between them. He said work of construction of a port in Sahibganj was in the final stages and will be inaugurated in May which would help to create employment and provide a facility for commutation in the area.

He claimed that no government tried to bring a change in the lives of the primitive tribes of the area and after 2014 the Paharia battalion was formed in which youth from the community were provided jobs and water supply scheme for them has been also started. He asked the tribals and the members of the minority community to understand that this election is for development.
