Prime Minister Modi holds mega road show

Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday evening held a mega road show in the state capital of Ranchi during which a huge turnout of people was witnessed on roads who indulged in slogan shouting and also showered flowers on the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister reached by a special flight at around 6.35 pm at the Ranchi airport. At the airport, he was welcomed by Chief Minister Raghubar Das and AJSU Party supremo Sudesh Mahto and other senior leaders of the BJP including in charge for Lok Sabha polls Mangal Pandey. Mr Modi came out in an open car for the road show which travelled a distance of about two kilometers from the airport to the Birsa Munda Chowk. During the show people in droves comprising young, old, children and women had gathered to catch the glimpse of the Prime Minister who was staging the very first road show in Jharkhand.

During the road show Chief Minister Raghubar Das, BJP candidate from Ranchi Sanjay Seth, Mangal Pandey and other leaders also accompanied him. The Chief Minister throughout the road show walked on foot ahead of the carcade in which the Prime Minister was. Not only the BJP workers but workers of the AJSU and LJP had also turned out at the event.

People were found having their cameras out to click an image of the Prime Minister who kept on waving his hand to the people throughout the stretch. Apart from the musical bands which were being played from the sidelines, people also showered flowers on the Prime Minister.
